Dear patients, parents and colleagues,

Welcome to our website, which is designed to help you to familiarize yourself with our Department for Stem Cell Transplantation and Immunology. We would like to inform you about our treatment methods and present our research topics.

At our transplant center, children, adolescents and young adults with malignant and non malignant diseases are treated using stem cell transplantation. 50 transplantations are performed here every year, making it one of the largest pediatric transplant centers in Germany.

Our center also specializes in performing haploidentical stem cell transplantation. This procedure permits parents to act as donors for their children and allows us to make stem cell transplantation available to every child.

In our immunological outpatient department patients with congenital and aquired immunodeficiencies are treated as well as patients with perinatal HCV-exposition and patients with chronic HCV-infections.
